See gorgeous fabric art right in Carlene’s home and studio, and handle Teta’s pottery until you find just the pieces to style your dinner table and home.
Teta’s feature will be serving bowls in lots of shapes and sizes. And of course mugs, mugs, mugs, which make for a practical, beautiful and affordable gift ranging from $20-$30. A full 16-piece dinnerware set, with a set of 4 each of dinner plates, dessert plates, and two sizes of bowls, is priced to sell quickly at $250 (50% discount). My husband, potter Steve Procter, has his studio at Cotton Mill, and that’s where I work too. Stephen Procter Studio is open for the 20th Annual Cotton Mill Open Studio & Holiday Sale at the historic Cotton Mill building in Brattleboro, VT. It’s a full scale festival, with enough food and art to keep you busy all day and get all your holiday shopping done.
Each year I choose something to feature, and this year it’s serving bowls in lots of shapes, sizes, glazes, and prices. And as always, mugs, mugs, mugs, which make for a practical, beautiful and affordable gift, ranging from $20-$35. I’ve also got about 60 tiles, about 4.5″ square, with a variety of carved and impressed designs. These are great as little, inexpensive, versatile and lovely gifts.
I’ll be raising my prices next year. I haven’t done so in a few years because I really want you to be able to afford handcrafted pottery. I work very efficiently to pass on some savings to you. And, well, I want to support myself equally. So get that platter or mug set you’ve been tempted by, and help me clear the inventory!
